Mini Biography:
At the age 15, he became the leader of the Oniwabanshuu. He later became a foster father to Misao ever since her father died. He left Misao to Okina in order to pursue his ambition to become the strongest.

Later he worked for Takeda Kanryu as bodyguard. However when the other
Oniwanbashuu was massacred by Kanryu, he blamed Kenshin for the death of his comrades.Then he was convinced to work for Shishio Makoto.

However Kenshin was able to clear out of Aoshi's head that he's not to blame at what happened to his comrades during their confrontation. After they pushed aside their differences, they became good friends and allies.

His relationship with Misao's quite a blurred one. So it's completely up to you to decided for that. *Hmmm there seems to be a lot of lemon Aoshi-Misao fanfics err no comment*.
